Custom made Dining Tables and Furniture in Hampshire

Available for delivery or collection right away I have a couple of pieces of furniture that I haven’t got around to loading onto my website.

These include a rustic 6 seater Oak and Pine Dining Table with reclaimed chunky ancient beam legs and a polished pine one plank top, a Side Table or two, Chopping Boards of various sizes and a gorgeous Coffee Table / Bench made out of a whole slab of weathered timber that has a stunning dark rustic patina.

We’re still working on The Mooph so haven’t had much time to concentrate on the website, our showroom is always open though, it has a large range of Interior decor including my partner Heidi’s Picture Frames, Mirrors, Lamps etc (therusticpictureframecompany) and my one off pieces of Rustic Furniture including Coffee Tables, Chairs, Console Tables, Benches, Pedestals etc, and original paintings on reclaimed wood by artist Gina Linnell from Www.wildlifeartonwood.co.uk

George Clarkes Amazing Spaces!

During the summer of 2022 myself and my partner Heidi (www.therusticpictureframecompany.co.uk) converted a large wooden motor boat that had been due to be burnt as the previous owners had not paid the mooring fee for years.

This was picked up by channel 4’s Amazing Spaces TV series and filmed over 6 very stressful months!

The boat, The Mooph was extremely rotten and had to be almost rebuilt, She had been dropped into a 7ft deep hole in my garden that was dug out to fit the shape of her hull, She now looks almost like she’s floating in the woods!

The TV program is on tonight, January 9th at 8pm on Channel 4, She also has an Instagram site called The Mooph where you can follow her journey.

Oak Dining Table Commission

I’m almost ready to deliver my last commission of the year, a large Oak Dining Table that is going to its new home in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire.

With chunky Oak beams for the legs and a single plank of kiln dried Oak for the top this substantial rustic dining table will last many lifetimes.

My diary is filling up for bespoke furniture orders for the new year so if you would like to discuss a commission of any kind please do get in touch.

Our showroom and workshop is open daily Inc Christmas eve, there are still items available for last minute gifts or pieces of furniture including coffee tables and chopping boards, we are open from 10 am

till late.

Showroom open 7 days a week!

Our showroom / shop is open 7 days a week in Dunbridge, just outside of Romsey in Hampshire.

We have an ever changing selection of rustic furniture and decorative interior pieces on display, and a large workshop. We also have a beautiful converted boat on site that you can see my furniture displayed in and get a real feel of wood options whilst discussing commissions if you’re after something bespoke.

Situated just off the Test way footpath there’s a Tea room just through the woods if you fancy going for a stroll and to get some food.

Sunbleached coffee table delivered to Putney

This stunning sunbleached coffee tablehas just been delivered to Putney in London where it will have pride of place in my customers beautiful living room.

This coffee table was actually a huge slab of Sequoai which I texturised and bleached to give it this sunbleached look.

Our showroom is open daily and I make to order as well as having a large selection of ready made stock available all through the year.

Christamas Shopping in Stockbridge!

We’re at Stockbridge Town Hall all this week, if you need last minute Christmas gifts then pop in!

There’s plenty to choose from and we have newly made rustic furniture and smaller home decor pieces.

There’s free parking along the high street and lots of places to get something to eat.

We’re open later till 6pm on Thursday, and 5pm the rest of the week.

Oak Coffee Table

This rustic coffee table was made a few months ago for a local customer,

Crafted from british grown oak with loads of character, this coffee table turned out really well and looks perfect in their lounge.

Each piece of rustic furniture I make is a one off, no two items will be the same and are never mass produced, all my work is made using solid british grown timber or reclaimed wood mostly from the local area including the Mottisfont Estate.

My furniture is displayed in my showroom where I live, you’re welcome to pop over at any time to see what’s being made and what I have in stock.

Christmas Shopping in Stockbridge

We’re back in Stockbridge Town Hall for 5 days from the 20th December.

Opening times are…

Monday 20th. 9am – 5pm.

Tuesday 21st. 9am – 5pm.

Wednesday 22nd. 9am – 5pm.

Thursday 23rd. 9am – 6pm.

Friday 24th. 9am – 4pm.

We’ve been flat out in our workshops making new stock for Christmas gifts as well as some stunning rustic furniture.

I’ve made a danish style oak chair which is a real statement piece, and a selection of rustic coffee tables which have lovely textured oak legs with polished tops which work really well together.

There will be the much requested Reclaimed oak door stops with the rope handles and a varied range of chopping boards with don’t hang around for long!

Other items that will be on display include chest boxes, oak benches, side tables, coffee tables, a quirky chair and pedestals.

Stockbridge high street is full of great places to eat and offers free parking, there are a variety of independent shops to support and visit too.

We look forward to seeing you during our 5 days in the Town Hall.

Rustic Christmas Gifts

Inbetween commission’s I’ve been making some gift idea’s in time for Christmas.

This week it’s Door Stops!

Using reclaimed Oak beams, I’ve been hand cutting and sanding the old Oak into chunky sections ready to attach a thick rope handle for ease of moving.

These always sell quickly and are a lovely gift idea.

Along with a new selection of Chopping Boards and Serving boards these will all be available soon through my website.
