Stockbridge Town Hall shopping!

We are back at Stockbridge Town Hall on Friday the 12th & Saturday the 13th November from 9am till 5pm.

We’ve been busy making a new selection of rustic furniture and home decor pieces in time for Christmas,  we have Chopping boards,  Door stops,  Coffee Tables, Benches, Mirrors, Tables, Chairs, Chest Boxes, Lamps, a Cupboard,  Stools, Side Tables, Candle Holders, Picture Frames,  and more.

Rustic Oak Dining Table

This Bespoke English Oak Dining Table has just gone to its new home in Malborough.

Using reclaimed Oak beams from Bognor Pier as the legs, and a whole slab of Oak for the top, this beautiful Dining Table is a one off which will last for many generations.

My customer wanted the Reclaimed Oak legs to be inset into the side of the table top, instead of the usual method of making a separate base.

Finished with a clear wax to enhance the grain and character of the timber, it also gives the wood a soft sheen.

Rustic Oak Seat

I have just finished this two seater Oak Lounge Chair, crafted using reclaimed english oak, ash and chestnut and finished with a nourishing wax to protect and enhance the character of this old wood, this is a beautiful timeless piece of furniture that is solidly made in a traditional style.

Comfortably seating two, this rustic bench / seat will look fantastic in a large hallway of lounge, it’s a statement piece that is a one off design.

I’ll be taking it to our monthly outing at Stockbridge Town Hall on Sunday

the 3rd of October,  it is also available to view in our showroom in Dunbridge which is open daily from 10 am.

Made to order Oak Dining Table

I've just finished this Oak Dining Table for my customer in Farnham.  He wanted an Oak Table to seat 4 people, at 1 metre square.

I used beautiful reclaimed Chestnut beams for the base and Oak for the top. It was finished with a clear wax which enhanced the markings in the wood and gave it a soft sheen.

Driftwood style Coffee Table

We had a great day at Stockbridge Town Hall last Sunday, I had only finished this Driftwood style Coffee Table the night before and it didn't hang around for long!

It was a total statement piece that was also a labour of love!

Spending a whole day getting the texture right then 2 days playing with the colour wash to create this Sunbleached effect, and then fitting the weathered Oak legs and sealing finish to protect it from spills etc, it was an experiment that turned out with a stunning result.

Stockbridge Sunday 4th July!

We are back at Stockbridge Town Hall this Sunday,  www.rusticanainteriors.co.uk and myself will have all our stock of Rustic Home Decor and Handmade Furniture, including a new range of Oak Garden Furniture for sale.

We are open from 9am till 4pm, there’s plenty of free parking and lots of great places to eat and walk.

We look forward to meeting new and existing custmers, and will be happy to chat about ant future commissions you might want.
