Rustic Furniture in Romsey

The Rustic Furniture I make and Design is on display in my showroom which is located on the Test Way in Dunbridge, nr Romsey.

I use alot of locally sourced timbers from the Mottisfont Estate, and try to use British grown Wood, along with Reclaimed Oak & Elm that is hundreds of years old.

Rustic Furniture in Romsey

I'm currently working on a new Chair design which will combine steam bent English Oak and Cast Iron sides which Bridport Foundry have made from a pattern I designed, this will be a statement piece that I cannot wait to finish.

I'm also working on a Bespoke Desk and shelving unit made from an ancient Estate made Tree Guard and Reclaimed Victorian Pine.

I exhibit at Stockbridge Town Hall once a month with Rusticana Interiors, our next date is Sunday the 4th July.

Rustic Furniture Shop in Stockbridge

Every month usually on the 1st Sunday,  myself and www.rusticanainteriors.co.uk hire Stockbridge Town Hall in Hampshire to display our Rustic Furniture and Home Decor.

We are constantly making new one off pieces of furniture including Rustic Coffee Tables, Oak Dining Tables, Chairs, Wooden Benches, Reclaimed Mirrors and Bespoke Picture Frames, Chest Boxes, Lamps, Console Tables and more.

Stockbridge Town Hall is the perfect setting for our work, the Georgian Architecture is beautiful and the space is light and airy, with the thriving high street that has ample free parking and plenty of places to eat, we look forward to our time meeting new and old customers and discussing future commissions.

All of my Rustic Furniture is made from locally sourced British Timber, it is crafted from only the finest most characterful tree’s that often come from the Mottisfont Estate next to where i live.

Rustic Oak Dining Table

This stunning English Oak Dining Table has just been delivered to its new home in Mottisfont.

Made from a whole slab of British grown Oak which measures 7ft x 1.30 cm x 5 cm, with a Reclaimed weathered Oak base, this is a wow piece that now has pride of place in a beautiful Barn Conversion in Mottisfont.

I left the edges of this Oak Dining Table completely natural, the shape of the tree had a slight curve in the trunk which you can see in the photo’s on my Instagram page,  the Oak has been enhanced with a clear wax which will also nourish the wood.

The Table will have two English Oak Benches made for it this week, and a Rustic Coffee Table and a Console Table will be following.

Bespoke Coffee Table

I’ve been in the workshop making this solid Reclaimed Oak Coffee Table with a stunning Ebonised finish.

This 5ft slab of English Oak has so much character and interest, we can’t stop looking at it !

This Rustic Coffee Table sits low to the ground has a masculine feel to it.

It has been coated with a wax to give the Ebonised Oak a sheen, which highlights all the natural curves and shapes to this lovely statement piece of furniture.

My showroom is open daily with all my available Furniture on display, please get in touch if you would like to visit, It is open from 10am until late, 7 days a week.

 

Rustic Furniture Shop

We had a great day at Stockbridge Town Hall on Sunday,  we are back there once a month from July.

The Furniture Showroom in Dunbridge is back open,  if you came to see us at Stockbridge then please feel free to pop over anytime and see what new stock there is available.

Industrial Shelving Unit

I’ve just finished making this Industrial Shelving Unit,  with solid English Oak Shelves and a Georgian Estate Made Tree Guard,  it looks incredible!

My customers had seen one I’d made a few years ago in Stockbridge and had patiently waited for me to find another Tree Guard suitable for their home.

After a trip to my Blacksmiths to straighten out the bars i burnished the metal and lacquered it to give it a sheen, the chunky Oak Shelves are finished in a clear wax to bring out the detail.

My workshop & Showroom is open daily, pop over if you would like a browse or to have a chat about a project.

Rustic Coffee Table

I’ve been busy this weekend in my workshop making this new Rustic Coffee Table that has a textured Driftwood appearance.

The Coffee Table has lots of Character and would look stunning as a statement piece in a Coastal property.

Handmade Furniture like this Table will last a lifetime, it will be available on my website this coming week.

Rustic Handmade Furniture

At Blackstone Chalk Furniture we have a showroom and workshop which is open daily.

Situated along the Test Way footpath with plenty of off road parking my Showroom is full of Rustic Furniture made from stunning Reclaimed timber with great history and age.

I welcome commission orders from Coffee Tables, Benches, Dining Tables, Shelving, Chairs, Chest Boxes and more.
